Laura Waldschmidt – New copywriter for Schwarz+Matt

A warm welcome to our copywriter Laura Waldschmidt, who joined us this year. Born in Hesse, she now describes herself as “Kölsch” due to her many years of residence – we also find ourselves in this culture characterized by openness and joie de vivre, so you are in good hands here, dear Laura. We are delighted about this new addition and the enrichment of your writing.

Laura will contribute to the Communication team in the areas of text and conception. With a wealth of professional experience, which she gained at the Cologne agency Meiré und Meiré, among others, she is now getting off to a flying start with us. The Cologne soul has already published advertorials and was involved in the textual design of a catalog that will soon be published.

Laura studied Media Cultural Studies and English Studies in her Bachelor’s degree. However, she quickly realized that she actually enjoys writing the most and therefore completed a Master’s degree in “Theories and Practices of Professional Writing” with a focus on literary writing.

What Laura particularly appreciates about agencies is the variety of projects and meeting new Customers. “You’re challenged to think your way into the most diverse target groups,” she wrote to us.

Our copywriter was so drawn back to NRW that she couldn’t even live in Berlin without feeling homesick. She lived there for a short time, but quickly realized that Cologne was her true favourite place to live.

Laura plays theater in her spare time and is part of a writing collective with which she regularly organizes readings. She runs a small podcast and loves fashion. Her dream is therefore a walk-in closet that would offer enough space for her beloved second-hand fashion.
